(Dis)comfort

Wearing your lover's clothes can evoke a comfortable feeling. Often this only works one way between two partners due to size differences, such as the larger person can pass the clothing to the smaller partner.

Psychology

I spoke to heterosexual and homosexual persons about their lived experiences. The aim was to overcome this physical boundary so that they can equally enjoy the benefits of wearing each other's clothing.

Design

I translated the insights into garments that were presented in an installation with three screens. For instance, the golden women’s underwear can be transformed into men’s underwear by opening the zip.
