(Dis)comfort

Being in isolated confined and extreme (I.C.E) environments has effects on humans' physiology, performance, and perception. For instance, astronauts in space can experience altered time perception.

Psychology

Together with Benjamin Pothier, who has worked as an analogue astronaut for the Human Spaceflight Committee of the International Astronautical Federation, we discussed multisensory interventions.

Design

We were looking for interventions to increase comfort in I.C.E. environments to support the daily routine and mental health of astronauts. The intervention was planned to be assessed in an analogue mission.
