Impact

This initiative is an example of how Debora bring content closer to audiences, using multi-sensorial experiences. For instance, this programme discussed diversity, individual expression and social groups. Audiences could watch the short film with live music from the composer and pianist Aki Spadaro (Vandaag). Also, speakers from various backgrounds were invited to illuminate the debated topic from multiple perspectives: Chris Rijksen (The Transketeers), Elio Heres (ELIOHERES) and Froukje van der Velde (Vileine). The panel discussion was moderated by Ernée Derckx (SPUI25). The event took place at Cultureel Centrum ‘t Fijnhout in Amsterdam. Audiences indicated that such a multisensory approach evoked openess and curiosisty. This can encourage individuals to overcome fear, prejudice and discrimination. Hence, such opportunities allow for mutual exchange as well as new insights.
